Arka is your project

Arka is built in the open. Whether you need help, want to contribute, or just want to share what you're building — you're welcome here.

Contributing

Arka welcomes contributions of every kind: bug reports, documentation improvements, new channel connectors, performance fixes, and everything in between. The main repository is github.com/Pommala-LLC/arka-oss.

Before submitting code, please:

  • Start a conversation on GitHub Discussions describing what you want to change — early feedback saves rework
  • For reproducible bugs, file an issue instead
  • Read the Code of Conduct
  • Sign the Contributor License Agreement (CLA) — a bot will prompt you on your first PR
  • Write tests for new behavior and keep existing tests passing
  • Follow the style conventions enforced by the project's linter

Code of conduct

Arka follows the Contributor Covenant code of conduct. In short: be kind, be patient, and assume good intent. Report violations to conduct@pommala.com.

Security

If you believe you've found a security issue, please do not file a public issue. Email security@pommala.com with details. We acknowledge reports within 48 hours and aim to ship fixes within 7 days for critical issues.

License

Arka OSS editions (Individual and Small Firm) are licensed under the Apache License 2.0. The Enterprise and Cloud editions are offered under a commercial license from Pommala LLC.
